Last year I swapped an off-topic wheel for three Regina Futura boxed sets with a local rider. They're all used to some degree, and today was really the first day I looked at them in any detail. Two boxes contain the three clusters and the one freewheel body (mounted in one of the clusters) and the splined freewheel remover. The third box contains two clusters and nothing else.
I searched the archives a bit, but didn't find the answer to my main question which is: How do I get the cluster off the freewheel body? I'm guessing it might have something to do with the small holes between the cogs (between the second and third cogs? I forget now). But is there another tool somewhere? Would anyone by chance have a set of instructions scanned somewhere?
I'm debating using these on a couple of bikes. When did they hit the market? When did they disappear from the market?
Thanks for any insights.
