The Professional will be regular BSC threading. The Gran Sport being a 531 tubed machine should use BSC threading too. In my limited experience, in dealing with Raleighs: If the bottom bracket looks like the BB found on most other bikes than it's most likely normal BSC threading. If it looks like fixed cup is sunk into BB shell, and has 5/8'' wrench flats, it should be a Raleigh thread (26tpi).

FWIW: My 78 Super Grand Prix, a notch below the Super Course, uses a Raleigh bottom bracket. Helpful to know if wanting to do a 3 speed conversion on a lower end 10 speed bike.
