All the European manufacturers used the same taper, as did the higher-end Japanese models (Sugino Mighty, Shimano Dura-Ace, SR-Royal). I have TA, Stronglight, Sugino, SR-Royal, Campy, and Zeus cranks here and I think I've used them all in every permutation of BB/crank without problems.
