Darcy; This looks to be the same Automoto that was listed on Ebay a few weeks back as a possible 50s bike. The auctioned reached about $781 and I was the high bidder, but did not meet reserve. It was relisted by the seller a few days later with an opening bid of $1299, but the auction disappeared from Ebay a day or two later so I assumed it was sold off of Ebay privately.
I'm not sure what the reserve was on Ebay, but the seller was offered a fair purchase price for the Automoto which was more than the final Ebay pricing, but my offer was rejected. At that point the seller was going to repost his bike through the CR, and Restoration lists hoping to get his price. In his letter to me he stated that the Automoto was purchased as part of a large number of bikes, and he needed a certain price as to not lose money on his investment.
I'm suprised someone on one of the lists has not purchased this fine unrestored bike. Even at $1299 it seems like a fair price. Atleast that's my thought.

Hi All,
I spotted this posting
This Automoto definitely has Nervex lugs but I can't tell much else from the posting. I don't know the seller.
