Me an Gianni are old pals. If you have questions about his bikes just let me know. I'll call him right up. Here is a picture of us hangin' out at a sports club in Tuscany knocking back a few glasses of chianti:

It real story is that we met Gianni Motta at L'Eroica last Fall. Mike Schmitt took the picture. The chianti part was true. Although Mr Motta doesn't speak any English it was clear that he was a very gracious person. I think that he is in his early 60's but on the bike he looked like he was capable of winning the Gyro au jour d'hui.
