All,
I've got too many bikes! I have to let one go and the Legnano gets used the least so I guess it is time to pass it on. I have used it a few hundred miles and it is currently ready to ride.
Bike has: -Original blue paint, hand painted logo's, brass headbadge etc- perfect patina! 1961 - 65 City of Sacramento permit still intact. Not perfect but very nice chrome on forks and rear triangle. I've seen much worse Gran Premio frame sets go for $300 on ebay. -Original headset/bottom bracket with great chrome(not sure of maker). -Magistroni cottered crank set, good chrome. -Campy GS or NR or? Quill pedals with Toe clips/straps. -Original Legnano seat binder bolt. -Later Campy SR fluted seat post 26.6mm. -Broken in Ideale seat in brown. -Ambrosio stem with Legnano engraved Ambrosio bars. -Campy Gran Sport brake set with Campy drop bolt, sorry hoods are cheap replacements. -Campy clamp on shifters, brake housing guides and cable guides. -Campy Gran sport front and rear deraileurs. -Fiamme red label tubular rims with new Continental sew-ups (~100miles on them) laced to Campy high flange GS hubs. Regina 5 speed freewheel.
I'd like to get $700 for it, but am open to reasonable offers. Bike is in exceptional original condition.
