Yes a very good point Dale - except that the only things that Luton is famous for is its Airport (where I work) Vauxhall cars (now defunct) and hat manufacturing (similarly defunct)...

Classic bikes*, and indeed bikes in general are few and far between here - so I surmise that getting from NC to Luton Beds will never be an issue for anyone...

*However we can boast A J "Pop" Hodge (who apparently taught Claud Butler frame building) and Alan Shorter (and/or his sole rep' on earth, Barry Chick - take your pick) as 'old lightweight Lutonians'.

Hodge's workshop still exists in Francis Street in the Bury Park area of Luton but is now virtually derelict, and Shorter's shop in High Town has long since been the abode of a automotive upholsterer.
