Viner presents an innovation: a frame with variable geometry. The angle of the frame depends on the position of the seat tube, and according to the route one faces it could be useful to assume a position more or less inclined. So, climbing to aid power it is necessary to assume a more rearward seating position, while on long routes a more layed out position is less tiring. It is most useful to be able to change position without changing bicycles but by simply loosening a bolt. Viner have already tested their idea and while this frame is not yet for sale commercially, they are working on ten possible seat tube positions and the results thusfar look good.
