Would this be the same Lorne Shields who started the Shields Bicycle Company in the 1970s, only to be screwed over by the Canadian Government? I've had a 1978 Shields Nishiki Landau since new as well as an '81 Nishiki Ultimate. Here is an article on the Shields Bicycle Company that appeared in Canadian Business, May 1981.
