Hi All,
Velo Orange has a new showroom and we're having an open house from 1-6 on Sunday April 15th. You're all invited for a glass of wine or sake and Franco/Japaneses snacks.
The address is 214 West Street Annapolis MD 21401. I'll post direction and details on the blog soon.
This is not an RSVP affair, but if you know you'll come please drop us an e-mail, just so we can estimate snack and wine quantities.
Earlier that day you might want to attend The Ride for Shelter. It's a neat bike ride in Annapolis to raise money for the local homeless shelter.
I was told that I'd volunteered to run the first annual Annapolis bike swap meet which is from 8-11am. So bring all your old bikes and parts. We'll ask you to consider donateing a small percentage of your take to the shelter. I'll post details on that too. The web site is: http://www.rideforshelter.com/
One of the reasons we live in Annapolis is that it's as close to a small European city as you'll find in the US. There are narrow brick streets, an old harbor, lots of cafes and restaurants, little B&Bs, artist's studios, many (almost) secret passageways between the streets, and even a couple of very old colleges. So you might make it a weekend and enjoy the place.
Thanks,
Chris
