I have one of those "latter-day" Idéale Diagonale 92s that Tony described, and I'd agree that it's not a bad saddle exactly, but the leather is a bit misshapen, overall finish is poor compared to a real one. I haven't ridden it yet but it seems a bit hard for a saddle with the Rebour treatment. Even the Rebour treatment logo embossing is poor quality compared to a real one. I fear it won't age well, but time will tell.
Mine is dated April-96 on the bottom of the leather, and has all the other features Tony mentions.
