Mont Faron Hill Climb, 1930
Dreadful road surface and frightening overhangs on the climb of Mont Faron. Charles Pélissier (left, Dilecta) and his brother Francis (2nd from left, JB Louvet) dictate the pace, but they would not win. Instead, independent Léon Fichot (inset) would reach the top first, ahead of Joseph Normand (independent) and Victor Fontan. From "Le Miroir des Sports" No.530, 18 March 1930.
