I made one of these years ago by cutting a notch in a medium-quality flat-blade screwdriver. A really good screwdriver will be too hard for easy hacksawing.

Tha'ts the very opposite thing, has a protrusion to fit into the nipple, rather than a notch to clear a projecting spoke.

I sometimes use one of those too, though when I was building wheels regularly, I used a re-ground Phillips bit in an electric screwdriver.
