i've just managed to purchase at a rather high price (bloody ebay), 2 NOS 1950's reynolds transfers/decals. they're the very small 20x14.5mm ones used on raleigh record aces and some others. i thought this was the size used on gillotts. i was wrong!!! gillotts used a 32x17mm -same width different height from standard, and placed it behind the seat tube, discreetly tucked away at the top. i have photos of my frame before i had the top tube replaced and i can see now they're the wrong bloody size. i can get the repros from nick at lloyds but i'm hoping to get an original. so if anyone has one (or two) that they might like to sell me please drop me a line. or even better if someone wants the 2 mini reynolds for their RRA restoration and have what i want we'll swap.
one will do but i am interested in a pair -i'm having my other gillott road/path resprayed too at some point.
