Subject: [CR]For reasonable paint work Assenmacher is hard to beat

I'd like to second Tom Adam's recommendation for the paint work of Matt Assenmacher's shop in Swartz Creek Michigan. They are just wonderful to deal with and I have had quality work from them every time. They are sensitive to not using huge amounts of thick paint on a vintage bike and their prices are terrific. They will often do just part of a bike, too, if that is what is desired and called for. This is not too common. I have had bikes that were repainted by nearly all the well known painters and I have had flaws from some of them whose work was much more expensive than Matt's...especially those done by CyclArt. I have never seen a paint flaw in a bike done by Assenmacher.
