Not to rain on anyone's parade or instigate any legal debate, but for what it's worth....there was a rather lengthy thread on the RBW list about Frost River and how they allegedly "stole" the Rivendell design that they had been contracted to produce. Of course, there's a different story depending on whom you believe. The bike illustration used on their website does resemble a Rivendell, but that could be just pure "coincidence" as I'm sure any keen legal mind will point out.

I recently read a note on the CR list ...

Another find was the saddlebag from Frost River in Duluth, MN. Since I haven't been able to find Baggins bags, this turned out to be the next best thing. Great retro-look and excellent quality. Their website has several bike bags made from waxed cotton canvas and leather.
