Subject: [CR]spokes binding?

I just finished building up some wheels: Campagnolo Nuovo Record sf hubs, DT double-butted spokes, Campagnolo Lambda Strad rims that are newer, but are a nice shiny silver. I generally use the Sheldon Brown method of lacing. However in this case the spoke holes on the hubs dictated the spoke orientation, which was different than I would have expected. Anyway, as I finished up the wheel, and was stress-relieving the spokes by squeezing groups of two together, I found that some pairs of spokes were binding against each other, while others were sliding nicely. I have never had this experience before. Any advice would be appreciated.
