These hubs were first available pre-war, and were intended for use with 3 x 1/8th sprockets. At some point the design was changed and some of the parts are not interchangeable. It is possible to fit 4 x 3/32nd sprockets to the early models, but a lathe is needed to remove the flange from the largest sprocket. I think some of the later ones may have been made for 4 x 3/32nd. They are extremely durable, and have 4 rows of bearings. Very useful for a 3 speed restoration where a 3 speed block is not available.
