I did not know there are multiple types of mavic spanners.
I think the hubs are the 501 and 531 (?) models - the parobolic profile, very "swoopy". The CR French components page shows a photo of the hubs (or darn similar) among the SSC grouppo.
Plastic tools ? I dunno... Sounds like I should hunt the metal verson.
