This is one of those middle range Raleighs which is still a very pleasant riding bike. Certainly worth the price I had paid - which was far below the original cost of the bike when new. This was Raleighs entry level Reynolds 531 bike.
As a point of reference, an interesting US dealer price listing which I recently came across (dated March 1976) shows the following suggested retail prices:
Team Professional = $900 Professional Mk IV = $650 International = $520 Competition Mk II = $330 Super Tourer = $330 Gran Sport = $300 Super Course Mk II = $220 Gran Prix = $160 Record = $140 Sprite 10 speed = $140 All roadsters and folders under $140
