By way of explanation (maybe i should not bother, its probably going to get me in deeper), just about everyone (myself included) except a select few REAL team members is by definition a poseur whenever they ride a team bike from a team that never sponsored them.
I was suggesting that the jersey might a compliment a team bike because it would show that rider didn't take their ownership of a team bike _too seriously_. Moreover, to me, a poser is someone who is at the front of the back in boastfulness and equipment, but at the back of the peloton (or not even present) on a real club ride ...
