I suspect this is off topic but in the right spirit.
_www.andybuysbikes.com_ (http://www.andybuysbikes.com) has an early pacing motorcycle with 2.4 litre Anzani engine. It is a lovely piece of history that belongs in a museum with an occasional gallop around a banked track. Asking price is 7000 pounds sterling. Surely too much? Far too much.
Now for the sad news. The only people to express an interest want to take the engine for a vintage hillclimb car. That has already happened to another one. The car would be about as vintage as one of those awful un-named plastic bottles of red plonk. Take a look and sigh for its passing and for human folly.
