I watched this auction out of curiosity because I have a PX-10 that is identical to it(not new old stock, though) - so I LOVED seeing the pictures that kind of information is priceless - it was neat seeing the shifters, I did not realize that style of shifter was original I thought they had the black plastic ones - now I know what is "correct."
I feel it went for a fair, if slightly high price. It would be great if the new owner would do a very detailed inspection and pictures, and share with the Peugeot gearheads :)
For something like this, I don't think the value is necessarily in the actual bike, per say, because the money could be put towards a "better" bike, but more in the "history" value. The PX-10 is sort of a milestone in the vintage lightweight history, at least here in the United States.
I would hope that the new owner may build it up, ride it a handful of times, and preserve it for future generations, but not hidden away - get the pics. and info out there!! :)
