It gets better Sasha. This same "1964 De Rosa" was up for auction last week as a "1964 Peugeot PX10." Item number: 270131207594 Quote: "This is quite simply a magnificent bike. It is a vintage steel Peugeot that I was given by my dad. I believe it is a 1964 model PX10, but it is possible that I am mistaken. I would not be selling it if I could keep it, but unfortunately I have outgrown its 52cm frame, and have to trade it in.

This is possibly the greatest bicycle I have ever ridden. It may not look like much, but it handles like a dream, and the acceleration is unbelievable for a steel bike. The steel makes it a little heavy, but it is really worth it. Combined with the other extremely expensive components, it is an incredibly smooth, precise ride."

I predict that for its next auction it will have morphed into a "1964 Confente."
