Wow, even if you don't like Speedplay, their site has an amazing gallery of pedals going back to the 19th Century. And as usual, we find nothing is really new in cycling. The "Spindless" design of the Dynadrive pedal was predated by Hi-E, by Daudon circa 1950, and by an American pedal in 1898.

Hi CR listees, I've ended up with one,Gipiemme pedal and toeclip, from the 1970's according to SPEEDPLAY''S online "pedal museum". I have the Right side pedal and toe clip.I'm looking for a left pedal and toe clipclip. If you need a digital photo of this let me know. Classic content check out the Speedplay website when you get a chance,it's been greatly expanded from it's initial start, all sorts of on topic pedals. The pedal I have is pictured at: http://www.speedplay.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=pedalmuseum.quill Description on website: Gipiemme 1970's Italy Aerodynamically designed with superior cornering clearance.
