Lou Deeter, I hear your invocation, calling upon the Gios Compact that your daughter rode for 15 years, to speak to the List. Quoth the Compact: all the lugs bear nicely detailed Gios outlined script imprinted clearly and delicately. The seat lug is especially evocative in that the Gios name appears on a raised platform. Otherwise the head lugs, bottom bracket, and front dropouts are adorned by imprinted script. On the bottom of the bb between cutouts is a serial number, 710013, and on the driveside of the bb is stamped the frame size, 48, as I am shy of average in stature. The fork crown also has GIOS imprinted in bold caps. Also, Lou, your daughter took immaculate care of this bike. I'm embarrassed to admit that in its modest time in my company, it's aged considerably. It's just a delight to ride and gives me the inspiration and confidence to stay beyond the grasp of the derelicts and crackheads who also find Stockton home, just barely.
