Subject: [CR]size of ball bearings in British headsets of 1950s?

What size ball bearings are used in British headsets as found in lightweight road bikes of the 1950s like Brampton, etc? Is it 5/32" ??

I know Raleigh has its difference in some cases, and I'm asking about headsets found in non-Raleigh road bikes like Bates, Macleans, Flying Scott, Rotrax, Hetchins, etc

I couldn't find this in the CR Archives. Thanks, Peter ============================================ Peter Brueggeman La Jolla California USA pbrueggeman(AT)ucsd.edu
