Hello to all of you. My name is Philip Moore, and I am an attorney and cycling enthusiast who lives, works and rides in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area (McKinney, to be exact). I did not start riding road bikes until 1999. I was a BMX kid and a mountain biker before then. But I got into the lore and legend of cycling by reading some history pieces in Cycle Sport, and began to grow a distaste for aluminum, carbon, titanium or any other frame and fork that is not made out of steel. Since then, I've owned a mid-1980s Merckx Corsa, a David Tesch made John Howard frame (that I sold to somebody on this list; a shop owner in California or Arizona), and another Tesch 101 model that I own right now (love it). My other bike is a Hans Schneider. I don't own a 1983 or earlier bike yet, but when I find a good 57 cm bike that I want, I'll pick it up. In the meantime, I will just sit back, be quiet, read and learn.
