I've never seen Woodrups here on the left coast until I bought a frame on the bay last year. Judging from the serial number & the Woodrup website it is about 1973. I don't even know what model it is. If anybody can tell me anything about it I'd sure appreciate your help.

Could anyone enlighten us on what a Woodrup Star Trophy is? Any chance to see some pics? Woodrup's were sold by my local shop (the one down by Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor in the early 80's, the name escapes me) and I've always toyed with the idea of picking up a Woodrup. I better hurry while they're still around.

I live in Lexington KY and have several bikes. The bikes I have that are relavent to the group are a 1975 Woodrup Star Trophy Model, Mid 80's Woodrup, mid 80s Puch Mistral Leader, 1983 Mercian Touring bicycle, and last but not least a 1980s vintage Ochsner. I have a quick question that I was hoping someone could answer.
Were all the 80's Ochsner's built of
COLUMBUS AELLE TUBI SPECIALI IN ACCIAIO AL CARBONIO MANGANESE.
Or did they use other types of steel? The tubing decal on mine is gone so I'm curious.
