Has anyone received a frame in the US from London?

I'm looking for a cheap alternative for a frame I recently purchased on ebay. The seller quoted me $40 (which seemed cheap) but now they are asking for SIGNIFICANTLY more.

A more realistic figure for a frame well packed and shipped via airmail would be 150 USD. The alternatives are either Royal Mail or Parcels2Go. There are a few savings to be made by economising on the packaging, and greater savings to be made by sending by surface mail, but I don't recommend either.
