As always, I had a Great Time at le Cirque! This is the 6th I have attended, all with my good friend Scott Goldsmith. We have a good time on the drive down, anticipating seeing the Friends we have not seen for a year, meeting new folks, and drooling on the cool machines everyone brings! This year did not disappoint, even though I (and by default, Scott) had to leave early, after the seminars on Saturday. Only something really major could make me leave early: My oldest Daughter, Adrea, after many long years and struggles, Graduated from OSU on Sunday!! Not even the Cirque could keep me from that.
But I felt privileged to be in Greensboro for Thurs evening thru Saturday. Dinner at Brixx, Friday Rides (2), The AUCTION!, Saturday Ride, Great Seminars!, Battleground Bull Sessions, Room parties. Well worth the drive down and back.
Thank You, Dale and all your assistants, and the GVC, for putting on this great event for the last 10 years. Wish I had known about it sooner than 2002! Your hard work is not taken for granted. It will be a tought act for Wayne and company to follow. We do of course look forward to Leesburg 2008! We already have a rez at the Best Western. I have been in this area for work and play, and I think it is an exciting place for le Cirque. The riding should be great and Leesburg is a very lovely city. As expressed in an earlier report, Greensboro will be missed; I think it is one of the prettiest towns I have visited, and the people are wonderful.
Sorry we could not be in the 2007 group photo. Maybe we can 'photoshop' us in?
