It was toward the end of the swap meet, and someone (John Barron?) had knocked down his bag of cleats from $20 to $8. I thought that was too low, and offered $10, so we compromised on $9. And, I picked up the implied obligation to get them out to people who can use them.
Here's what I have (all prices include domestic US shipping; I'd much rather not ship these low-valued items overseas):
1 pr. Colnago, plastic cleats, adjustable, on nail-on "plaques" that get nailed to the shoe. $12
1 pr. TA Jacques Anquetil short aluminum cleats, nail-on, $15.
LOTS of Plastic PAVARIN, in different models:
1 pr, 2-hole, line perpendicular to shoe axis, with mounting "plaques" like the Colnagos, to be nailed on. $10
5 pr, 2-slot, line perpendicular to shoe axis, slots about 8 mm. long. $8 per pair.
4-pr, 2-hole, line perpendicular to shoe, centers 17 mm apart. $7/per pair
1 pr with spare, bolt on, flathead bolts inserted from shoe inside, solid aluminum bar stock machined to shape. The last pair you'll ever mount on that set of shoes! $6 for all three.
I suspect these will cost a couple of bucks a piece in postage, so I'm not doing this to make a killing, but to try to get them out to people who need or want them.
I can also mount cleats to your shoes, but we're talking 2-way shipping and a donation to Operation Smile for the service. I'm happier if your local shoe repair person does it, instead. If the cleats go quickly, I'll also do a donation to Smile.
I'm not going to wait 24 hr after digest post this time, but will respond in order of receipt here. I do reserve the right to ration to 1 pr/person if there is an overwhelming response, but I think that is pure theory. Please let me know if you would accept substitutes if your choice is gone.
Thanks!
