As far as I know, the Criterium bars of the same generation as the star logo CdMs and Giros had an entirely different logo that included the word "Criterium" written out across the face of the bar, in line script (as opposed to block letters like the "Cinelli" on the other side).

This got me curious enough to go searching through my stash. I found a couple each of Giros and Campiones from this era.
It turns out all of us were right. Both the Giro and Campione have "Stars", but they are much different "Stars". The Giro has a 5 point Star, while the Campione has an 8 point one. The latter could also be interpreted as a flower or a leaf.
I know I've also seen at least one Cinelli bar from this era with a third logo, I think including a crescent moon plus other objects. Maybe this was the Criterium model.. Anyone else seen this one?
