I must admit that these wonderful bikes of ours seem to respond well to purely mechanical attention. A little lube here, an complete overhaul with new cables and bearings etc. This is true until I take inventory of my small stable. My Colnago is a pretty little filly that only comes out when the weather is clear and the road is well paved. My 3Rensho thrives on hard treatment but is currently in negotiation for a shorter stem and a new paint job. My Raleigh is fast and energetic but still hasn't forgiven me for the accident she had due to my carelessness and my Bianchi and I are getting a divorce. The Gios that is taking her place is still in the courting stage with me, but when I assemble her full wardrobe I suspect we'll be getting along famously.
