The Official BVVW jersey idea IS becoming a reality. Although this project has dragged on for what seems like an eternity( total nearly two years), jerseys will be delivered by the end of the year. The gold material has been dyed and knitted. Enough money has been collected to order. The Italian factory where the jerseys will be manufactured however , is closing for summer holiday for the month of August, as does the rest of Italy. I would like to extend a bonus to any one who has already paid by offering a 10% discount upon delivery. If you want one and haven't yet ordered, then get me a check NOW.

The BVVW jersey is gold with a wide white stripe across the chest and back, flanked by a thin black stripe above and another below the white with gold/black ribbing at the collar and sleeve ends and is made of 100% Merino wool with three buttoned pockets in the rear. The BVVW jersey will be available in both long and short sleeve versions and WITH and WITHOUT embroidery. So...... their are four possible combinations. The embroidered version will have "BVVW" on the top of the sleeves (curved like the "Brooklyn" Woolistic jersey) with "G.S.Pergolizzi" on the left breast Area; "G.S." stands for "Gruppo Sportivo". All of the embroidery will be in black chain stitch wool (like the San Pellegrino jersey). Or, if you prefer, get the plain version with NO embroidery.
Our jerseys will be manufactured by Alex Clark's company "Woolistic" in Italy and will be sized the same as their other fine jerseys, so please refer to http://www.vintagevelos.com for sizing information. The quality of the Woolistic products is unsurpassed in the world of cycling today and will be a fine addition to your jersey collection.
Prices will be commensurate with the other jerseys in the Woolistic Line; short sleeve are $132.00 each and long sleeve are $143.00 each. Please refer to the Vintagevelos site for shipping specifics (add $8.00 priority shipping in the continental U.S. to your order for the first item, $2.00 extra for each additional item).

Now you have more time to get your money in since we haven't made the order yet. After all the money has been collected, the order to Woolistic in Switzerland will be placed. That will happen the 2ed week of September. Then expect approximately a three month wait for the jerseys to be made. Remember , these are custom. Patience has been paramount and I thank those of you who have been waiting.
