A new $600 race bike? For $600 you can get an aluminum Giant OCR3, with a Shimano Sora drivetrain and wheels with soft Alex rims that always go out of true.

If you said that modern bicycle lights (even cheap ones) are far superior to lights from the on-topic era, I'd have to agree. I do appreciate modern technology when it is superior. But when you say that a 2007 made-in-China aluminum bike with cheap and heavy parts will "beat" a classic Cinelli (whatever that means), I have to smile.
