Hi,

I have some NOS (new old stock) vintage bike items for sale. I hope to pass on these items to other CR list members.

Prices include USPS Priority Mail shipping in the USA. The prices of the freewheels are the same whether or not you wish to have a vintage VAR removal tool. Sorry, there is no shipping discount for the purchase of multiple items.

Photos of the items for sale are posted at: http://picasaweb.google.com/OldSourdough/VintageBikeParts2

They are listed according to the item numbers below (C1, C2, U1, R1, R2, R3, E1).

If you wish to purchase any item, please send me an email to see if it is still available.

I accept PayPal [jkadonaga@ucsd.edu].

Thanks!

Jim Kadonaga Del Mar, CA

C1. NOS (new in box) Campagnolo Nuovo Record brakeset. Block CAMPAGNOLO print on normal reach calipers with nutted attachment. Domed quick release levers on calipers. Shield logo on the hoods, which are soft and supple. Includes original 1.8 mm brake cables (with the little <c> on the end) and grey housings. Excellent condition. [$275.00 including shipping in the USA.]

C2. USED (poor condition) Campagnolo Rally rear derailleur. Based on the construction of the upper body (which was prone to breakage), I believe that this is an early version from the mid-1970s. In its current state, this derailleur is NOT useable, because the spindles (808/A) that hold the arms onto the upper body are loose (I also think that they may be replacement spindles). In addition, the pulleys (both of which are Campagnolo) appear to be slightly different. There are numerous scratches, etc. Thus, this derailleur is, in my opinion, in POOR condition. However, I thought that there might be a Rally fan who might be able to fix it or at least get some spare parts from it. OK, you know what you're getting here! [$20.00 including shipping in the USA.]

U1. NOS (new in box) Universal 61 brake levers with hoods. Includes one extra brake cable and housing (which I think is long enough for a rear brake). The hoods are soft and pliable, but have many unsightly dark brown/black speckles on them. The levers (but not the hoods) are in excellent condition. [$25.00 including one extra cable/housing and shipping in the USA.]

R1. NOS (no box) Regina G.S. Corse five speed freewheel. 14-16-18-20-22 teeth. Excellent condition. Spins nicely. Probably is Italian threaded (no markings on the back of the freewheel body). Two recessed slots for removal. Includes a vintage VAR-188 freewheel removal tool. (Note: this is NOT an oro/gold freewheel.) [$65.00 including the VAR-188 tool and shipping in the USA.]

R2. NOS (new in box) Regina Extra Oro five speed freewheel. 13-15-17-19-21 teeth. BSC/English threaded ("F.I." is stamped on the back). Two recessed slots for removal. Includes a vintage VAR-188 freewheel removal tool. Excellent condition, with some tarnishing of the Oro finish on some cogs. Spins nicely. [$65.00 including the VAR-188 tool and shipping in the USA.]

R3. NOS (no box) Regina Extra five speed freewheel. 13-14-15-16-17 teeth. FRENCH threaded ("F.F" stamped on the back). Two recessed slots for removal. Includes a vintage VAR-188 freewheel removal tool. (Note: this is NOT an oro/gold freewheel.) Spins nicely. Very good condition. [$25.00 including the VAR-188 tool and shipping in the USA.]

E1. NOS (new in box) Everest Oro five speed freewheel. 14-16-18-20-22 teeth. Possibly BSC/English threaded (but I'm not certain). The box is torn at the edges. Two recessed slots for removal. Includes a vintage VAR-186 freewheel removal tool. Spins nicely. Freewheel is in excellent condition. [$75.00 including the VAR-186 tool and shipping in the USA.]
