Subject: [CR]RE: Raleigh ID Help

Hi Rich,

I believe that the bike in the picture is a c. 1973 ItalVega Super Speciale. The color, chrome bits, seat stay caps and crown all look correct to me. What is the threading on the bb? It should be 36mm x 24tpi, if I'm right. It's a very nice production bike with Columbus tubing throughout. The comparable Raleigh would have been the Professional, which uses a similar crown, but has "fastback" stays that go straight into the seat tube.

Hope this helps!

I believe it's a Raleigh but not sure on the model. I don't have the bike only pictures. A bit large for me but the price might be right

Thanks in advance
