Fellow Listmembers, I just got a set of AVA NOS tubular rims. They feature the blue-white-gold AVA paper sticker and a blue Saphir sticker for the model name. They are non anodized aluminium with single dimpeled eyelets. The archive just produced that AVAs have been used on early 70ies Raleigh pros. The Saphir model is never mentioned. Does anybody here know more about them esp. when they were actually in production? I would like to pair them with a '62 marked record hubs for my Cinelli B model. Any comments and hints are welcome.
