I the early 80's MKS made an "aero" style platform pedal similar to the Shimano DD (but with conventional axle) or to the slightly off-topic Campy C-Record and Victory pedals. I believe it was called tes Esquartz. There was a SunTour badged version also, I believe. I have a couple of pairs, at least one of which I purchased new. I believe this pedal was introduced in 1983 or earlier, and is therefore On-Topic, but I'm nor certain of that.

(1) What other MKS pedals (if any) are in the CR timeline ?? In particular, what is the timeframe of the Sylvan lite pedal?

(2) Do any japan listmember have a source for NOS titanium spindles or NOS titanium pedals, made by MKS, sold until roughly 2005 ?? They are probably off-topic (sorry), as they are RX-1, Royal Nuevo, and Custom Nuevo, i believe. I was told by an MKS representative that Suntour Cyclone (circa 1983?) pedal bodies were made for suntour, who supplied their own face plates. Please contact me offlist about MKS Ti Spindles, if available, thanx.
