According to Sutherland's, the Campy inner was 100mm, just 2mm smaller than the Avocet/Ofmega larger inner circle. Too bad the two couldn't standardize it. Sutherland's shows minimum ring of 36, but I think that just means it was the smallest Campy made. They show a 32 minimum for the 102mm Ofmega circle and a Merz "Adapter" with a min 31 tooth for the 100mm circle. So you could almost certainly use a 32 and probably a 31, if anyone would make one.
I have 36T rings for 116 BCD 3-arm TA Professional and for 116 5-arm Campy Victory and late Grand Sport and even for 120mm Zeus, so 36T quite obviously is not even close to the smallest that can be produced for a 100mm circle

I looked, and it raised a question I think I saw addressed years ago, or maybe is common knowledge, but I can't find it in the archives:
What is the inner circle of the triple that came with a 36 tooth ring, and what is thus the theoretical minimum number of teeth for that ring? I can see from the pic it could go lower than 36, if someone with too much time on their hands wanted to make the ring.
