If we're talking about the seat stays here as having "never" been copied:

then I know of two builders who copy it (or at least are in the same ball park).

Neither is exactly a copy, perhaps we should call them tributes by two Eisentraut disciples: Bruce Gordon and Marc Nobilette. I've spent time staring at both lugs trying to visualize how to make them, and I end up dizzy trying to see how you could not only make one side, but keep em symetrical left and right. Mr. Nobilette looked at my frame at this year's Cirque, and said it was made back when he cut everything by hand.

Albert's original seat stay arrangement was both elegent and difficult to make. That's why you don't see any copies. Phil Brown I tried once but failed-it was hard-in San Rafael, Calif
