I'm putting the finishing touches on my 1958 Raleigh Record Ace Moderne. Hoping to have it ready for next week's "All British Cycling Event" http://abcetour.com The 23" frame weighs only 4 lb. 3 oz. so I assume it was sold as a raceable bike. It was available with 2 fixed sprockets, a Sturmey FM 4 speed, or a CycloBenelux 5 speed derailleur.
Does anyone know if it was the last production Sturmey Archer hubbed race bike?

BTW2 Props to Pete Paine for finding me a good FM and a 44t Williams C1200 chainring.
