Howdy,

I just about finished my 1974 Jack Taylor. Only a few adjustments and finishing steps left. Im just going to ramble for a minute, then post a link. I am riding this to coffee and work if I can wake up tomorrow .

The bike has Phil hubs, BB, and the CHP pedals, gold anodized NR group except for the headset, derailleurs, and chainrings. The cinelli bars and stem are both anodized gold as well and everything is inlaid in red. The crank arms date to 1974 and the brake levers are the earlier long reach type. Hoods are repro's. I am actually planning on riding this baby so I relaced the hubs to a pair of Ambrosio 19 extra rims taht I picked up at Le Cirque. Im not too worried about period correctness at this point , as can be seen by the speedblend tires(actually all that I have on hand)which I will put some nice gumwall kevlar 28's on . I actually stole the housing off of my wifes bike tonight since it was pretty nice and I dont have a stash of nice housing. Lastly I am going to fender it out at some point.

If anyone has any comments or ideas on how this might have been set up, I'd love to hear it. Please excuse my awesome grammar and 3AM writing skills , I should have been in bed long ago.

Time to finish up the Masi
