As I've read several posts that discuss cracks that develop at the arm/spider junction of Campy Record cranks; while inspecting one I found a machine groove in the milled recess that is deep enough to travel all the way around thru the sharp edge and into the polished surface. No crack yet, but I wonder if it is advisable to relieve this "defect?" by filing or best to just leave alone?
