Ladies and Gentlemen, With neither the time, space nor money for any winter projects of a larger scale or significance, I have turned my attention (obsession) to the rich t radition of leather saddle modification and personalization. (Think Ottusi , Bettini and Tony Colgrave.) I have experimented by trimming down the profiles of a couple of Brooks sad dles that I have...But I am looking to get a little dirtier and try my hand at more severe modifications (bending cantleplates, drilling, re-stretchin g, refinishing, tying, etc.) and am running out of leather to remove. This is a shot in the dark, I know...but it never hurts to ask: If any of you have any beat up/trashed/old/unwanted/unloved/uncomfortable l eather saddles that you would like to donate to aid in a young man's develo ping creative/educational/exploratory process, please let me know! I would gladly pay for shipping and would love to offer anything I can in t rade.
Muchas gracias, Matthew Bowne Trying to keep busy for another few months until ALL of the days are 65 deg rees in Brooklyn, New York
