Generally speaking track bikes tend to have higher bottom brackets.
Therefore a smaller frame is usually required for stand over clearance
and a longer seat post to regain the correct riding position.
As with all generalizations there are exceptions of course and the
intended track length, banking, event type and fashion all come into
play in the design of the bike.
