In my continuing search for aesthetic and mechanical perfection in centrepulls, I would love to track down a set of Dia Compe GC 450s. The inspiration comes from some photos and commentary in Eugene A. Sloane's (now-anachronistically-named) All New Complete Book of Cycling (1980). I'd love to find the matching levers too.
I picked this book up at a university book sale earlier this year. A wonderful source of out-of-date information, with many amusing photos of well-coiffed cyclists. The author is a big fan of his Alex Singer, and has lots of good touring advice.
