The Shimano Dura Ace/600 stems were avaible in 25.4 and 26.0, not in 26.4. They are very nice bars and I use one on my daily bike with no knurling on the bars.

Regarding the Shimano Dura Ace "aero" style stems, I have two questions:
1) Do they take a 26.0 or a 26.4 mm handlebar, or did they come in both sizes?
2) Do they require a specific knurling on the bar to grip correctly. I recall the similar Cinelli 1-R having trouble gripping bars that did not have good, clean Cinelli-style knurling.
Thanks,
