Is this basically a "U" shaped plate that connects the pivots making the caliper stiffer?

Received and installed a set of Robert Broderick's Mafac Brake Booster Plat es. A very nice kit. Install's easily and looks and works great (on the stand, snow, ice and winter in general making road test problematic).

If anyone (other than me!) has any interest in a booster plate set for the Universal 61's too, let Robert know as he has a min. run number needed for production.
